Human-Centered Computing Lab

We build and design AI-driven interactive systems to make digital content accessible and usable, especially for people with disabilities.

The Human-Centered Computing Lab at Old Dominion University is led by Dr. Vikas Ashok, an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department.

Our group explores research ideas in Human-Centered Computing, an interdisciplinary field that crosscuts Human-Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. Through our research, we aim to make interactive computing devices and applications not only accessible, but also more usable so that users with diverse abilities can easily benefit from technological advancements.
